CAMBRIDGE IGCSE - FINAL PROJECT

Design Brief : “To produce a product that is capable of storing maximum amounts of equipment, whilst taking up minimum space. The product will be based around the concept of Ray and Charles Eames, allowing the product to be minimal, colorful, modern and interesting.”

As a class we were introduced to Charles and Ray Eames. After research on their designs, we were prompted to design and produce a desktop item that was themed to their work. I proceeded to produce a desktop organizer with the Eames color scheme, using wooden veneers to produce the cozy feel of their products, with an added touch of bright primary colors to make the product stand out similar to the style of Charles and Ray Eames.
